Senior professionals have some responsibility to provide leadership and guidance back to their respective industry. In some sense “mentorship”. One way to do this is by engaging in public discourse. Communicating is one of the core competencies for seniors who should write and publish often. That is one purpose for this blog. At times I may alter my view about a topic having explored it over time, however I want to use this blog to present information, concepts and ideas about the joint field of Distance Learning (DL) and Information Assurance (IA). My goal is to disseminate information that will allow you to understand what is happening in this specialized niche area and why it is important. I hope you will benefit from this blog and welcome any comments you may have.
